Launch of Fiction de Valèn

Fiction de Valèn Blog Begins Posting

I'm pleased to begin Fiction de Valèn a blog devoted to my writings, opinions, musings, and philosophy, that I envision will not only cover my own works, and sometimes the works of others, but also my thoughts, and observations regarding the general craft of writing. 

The launching of this blog coincides with my debut as a Hosted Author on the Gay Author site and the posting of my ongoing work The Scrolls of Icaria on GA.
I'm hoping that I can create a connection between my stories and this blog as a means to further communicate with readers of my work.

As a writer I see a blank page before me and yearn to fill it. In the blogasphere those pages can seem to stretch on out to infinity. But to me, the real crux of all this: will there be anything of interest, value or amusement written on them? I can only wait and see what unfolds with time.

Will this prove to be an interesting exercise? A creative endeavor? A boring diatribe? (For I can certainly be as opinionated and bombastic as we all can be from time to time.) Will this blog achieve my goal? A goal that often shifts as much as my own thoughts and opinions do.

Though self-absorbtion and over analysis has been the downfall of many a well-intentioned project. So instead of introspection, it's time to begin and see where this path will lead.
