Origin de Valèn

The Concept

Active working space of writer Jamie de Valèn; a venue where current projects are being presented for examination and discussion. Also the place to comment on current online posted work.

Welcome to Fiction de  Valèn, a site devoted to the presentation, exposition and discussion of my current writing projects: principally my long-term ongoing work The Scrolls of Icaria appearing on the AwesomeDude and Gay Authors sites, and Timeless, a new work just entering production, in addition to other subjects, topics and projects.

The content of this blog is intended for both active and potential new readers of my fiction, although if you've unexpectedly landed here, or are paying a random visit out of curiosity, you're most welcome to explore. Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to peruse what is presented in the pages of this blog.

The purpose of the FIction de Valèn blog is primarily to act as an additional outlet for those following my fiction, so as to allow my readers an opportunity to see the ongoing development of planned, current and completed projects.

As production moves from concept, to planning, to writing, my works of fiction will be discussed and analyzed in this blog, in addition to offering up some of my own personal thoughts and observations as I delve into the process of producing my latest fiction.

I also will present some insight into potential future projects.

If desired, you'll be able to glimpse some of my personal thoughts and feelings as my works evolve, allowing you a look into both the process and product  involved in my fiction.

In addition to my own thoughts, occasional Blogisodes will be presented to readers for their interest, amusement and reading.

These short story excerpts titled Blogisodes are intended to offer up the occasional new insite, different perspective, unusual POV, additional backstory or novel insight into something not covered in any of my works actively being presented. Think of them as a way to gain more insight into one of the stories you are currently following.

I also plan to discuss the craft of writing, an endevor that means a great deal to me, and possibly other works that are not my own if I feel the urge.

And finally, I'll certainly be discussing some future projects that are in various stages from concept and research, though storyboarding and preproduction.

Once again welcome and feel free to comment.
